Two great pieces of news:

#1: I found my wedding dress

Yesterday was a Hailey & Marie day. It was really nice, actually. Received a great piece of news this past Friday. I opened up a letter from the Minister Responsible For the Status of Women to discover that I am the recipient of one of the 50 bursaries they are awarding this year (worth $1,000). I couldn't believe my eyes ( Read more... )

I just had the most wonderful long weekend. I actually ended up spending the weekend at my old house ---- not because I'd planned on it, but because my family and I seemed to have some sort of "movie extravaganza" weekend. What a relaxing few days. The parents went away for the weekend, so I spent the last few days at the house, hanging out with my brother and catching up on some much needed sleep. I finally contacted the landlady Friday morning in regards to the tenant living below me. I was, once again, kept up for most of the night due to his loud music blaring ( Read more... )

Last night I headed over to the Kelsey's at Polo Park and met up with a couple of friends. We stuffed ourselves with food and then stuffed ourselves some more with dessert and coffee :) It was good times! Had a great evening last night. It was a good friends (my ex-roomie) champagne birthday. Since I wasn't the driver, I decided it was a good time to get happy :) All I can say is there's nothing more fun than a group of (semi) drunk people playing a game of Blurt. Everything was so funny.
